Privacy & Cookies
How we handle your information when you visit this website or contact TLB Heating & Plumbing Ltd.

Who we are
TLB Heating & Plumbing Ltd is responsible for the personal information you provide through this website and when you contact us about our services. We are the data controller for that information.
You can contact us about your information using any of these details:
- Email: tlb.heat.plumb@gmail.com
- Telephone: 07553 422217
- Post: 155 Sanderstead Road, South Croydon, CR2 0PH
Information we receive
The enquiry form asks for your name, email address and message. You can also provide a telephone number and select the service you are interested in. We receive the information you choose to include in your message and in any later correspondence.
Please include only the information needed to explain your enquiry. You do not need to provide sensitive personal information or payment details through this form.
Providing information is voluntary. The required form fields allow us to understand your enquiry and reply. If you prefer, you can contact us by telephone or email instead.
Requests to the website and form also include technical information, such as an IP address and browser information, which our hosting provider handles to deliver the website, process submissions and protect its service.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, discuss the services you have requested and prepare a quotation where you ask for one. If you arrange work with us, relevant correspondence may form part of the records for that work.
The legal basis depends on the purpose:
- Steps towards a contract or carrying out a contract: handling a request for a quotation or work, and communicating about work you arrange with us.
- Legitimate interests: answering general questions and managing correspondence. Our interest is in communicating with people who contact us about our business and services.
- Legal obligations: retaining or providing relevant records where applicable law requires this.
Sending an enquiry does not sign you up for marketing. The website does not make automated decisions about you or use profiling to decide whether you can receive a service.
Service providers & international processing
Netlify hosts this website and processes and stores submissions made through the enquiry form. Email correspondence with our Gmail address is handled through Google's email service. These providers receive information needed to deliver their respective services.
Provider systems may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Netlify describes its international transfer safeguards, including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and contractual safeguards where applicable, in its data processing documentation. Google's privacy documentation explains its international processing and transfer arrangements.
You can read more in the Netlify privacy statement and Google privacy policy. Contact us if you would like further information about the handling of your enquiry or the relevant transfer safeguards.
Information may also need to be disclosed where we are required to do so by law. Links to other websites take you to services covered by their own privacy and cookie policies.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information for as long as it is needed to respond, deal with follow-up questions and establish whether work will go ahead. If an enquiry leads to work, we retain relevant records according to the needs of that work, applicable record-keeping requirements and the handling of any complaint or dispute.
The retention period depends on the nature of the enquiry and any resulting work, whether correspondence is still active, and whether a legal or record-keeping reason remains. You can ask us about information relating to your own enquiry using the contact details above.
Cookies & browser storage
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, embedded maps, social media tracking or externally hosted fonts.
When you select Got it on the cookie notice, the website saves a small preference in your browser's local storage. This remembers your acknowledgement so the notice does not appear on every page.
- What it contains: the notice version and the date and time of your acknowledgement.
- Purpose: remembering that you dismissed the notice. It is not used to track you or store your enquiry.
- Duration: your acknowledgement is valid for 180 days. The notice appears again after this period or when its wording changes.
This preference is saved only after you select Got it. To review it, use Cookie information in the footer or the button below to reopen the notice. Then select Clear remembered notice to remove the saved acknowledgement. It will remain cleared unless you select Got it again. You can also remove website storage through your browser settings. If your browser blocks storage, you can still dismiss the notice, although it may appear again on another page or visit.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and the legal basis for using your information, you may have the right to:
- Ask for access to your personal information and a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Ask for information to be deleted or for its use to be restricted.
- Receive information you provided in a portable format where the right to data portability applies.
Your right to object
You can object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests. Tell us about your circumstances using the contact details above so we can consider your request.
These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions. We may need to confirm your identity before dealing with a request. The Information Commissioner's Office explains your data protection rights.
